How do I make sure I am on track with my budget for each category?
Not overspending or underspending your budget is important to take care of as a self-managing participant. Humane makes it really easy for you to do so by providing you this information right on the Overview page. The budget overview chart on the dashboard page tells you what percentage of funds you have spent for each category. The ideal spend line tells you how much you should've spent. Can one account manage multiple plans? E.g. Can I managing plan for both children through one account?
At this moment, this will require multiple accounts. But since this is a highly requested feature we will be implementing it very soon. After that, you will be able to add more than one plans in your account. And select which one you want to be able to manage at the time.
Can I request to delete my data from the platform?
Yes, sure! Your data belongs to you and only you. So, if you decide to leave the platform and want your data deleted, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll delete your data within 7 business days.
Can two people manage the same plan? E.g. Can I and my spouse manage plan for our son?
Currently, this is only possible by creating one account and creating a common password that the two people can share. However, soon on Humane you will be able to share the plan across multiple accounts and manage at the same time. You might want to change your password while doing this.
How do I stay prepared in case of an NDIS audit?
Sometimes, NDIA audits the participants to make sure they're complying with all the NDIS rules and to make sure that the funds are being used properly. Humane gives you an easy way to track and plan your funds for the future, so you can make sure your budget never runs out early. For this, go to the Budget page, choose the budget category from the top and then click on the Plan Duration chart. Using this chart, you can see whether your forecasted spending is roughly around the dotted line. If it is, congrats! - this means that what you're spending is close to what you should be spending.
